Johnny Dilks & The Highway Kind is a unique blend of classic country and soul music, heavily influenced by the brass band traditions of New Orleans and Mexico. The 12-piece ensemble consists of 3 horns, 4 female vocalists, organ/piano, lead guitar, bass, drums, and leader Johnny Dilks on acoustic guitar and vocals.     I might bust out of Yosemite to come see your show in Sacramento. Then, hit the gravel for the drive back home to New Orleans after I get cut loose after Labor Day weekend. I'll let you know for sure as it gets a little closer.
